A Chou-Yang Type multiplicity distribution, which consists of a stochastic (binomial) component for z = n(f) - n(b) and a nonstochastic (negative binomial) component for n = n(f) + n(b), is used to analyse the forward-backward multiplicity correlations and the single hemisphere multiplicity distributions for both e+ e- and hadron-hadron collisions over a wide range of cms energy. Experimental data in full phase space are reasonably reproduced provided that the mean cluster size r is target-projectile and energy dependent.
