摘要
Naturally occurring heterocycles such as imidazole and thiophene do not conform to the rule of topological charge stabilization. Abiotic synthesis and biosynthesis of such heteroconjugated molecules can be rationalized in terms of aromatic stabilization. Antiaromatic molecules are formed neither in primitive-Earthsimulation experiments nor in living systems. © 1990 The Chemical Society of Japan.
