摘要
1. 1. Intestinal absorption of different concentrations of glycine has been studied in vivo and in vitro in the rainbow trout in the entire intestine or in fragments. 2. 2. Glycine absorption in vitro is a saturable phenomenon which obeys Michaelis-Menten kinetics in the range of 0.5-10 mM. The transport constant (Kt), maximal transport rates (VTM) and net liquid fluxes are all higher in the middle portion of the intestine (midgut) than in the posterior portion (hindgut). 3. 3. Glycine absorption by the hindgut in vivo is a saturable phenomenon in the concentration range of 0.5-10 mM. Absorption by the midgut, however, is a linear function of the initial glycine concentration. Net liquid movements are only slight in both portions of the intestine. © 1979.
