Social representations of LGBT people in the university: teachers and students perspective

摘要
This article affects the perception of sexual diversity and social representations that manifest themselves in the university context and form part of the practices of the teachers and students against LGBTI people sectors. For the study, a descriptive ex post-facto methodology and quality through a case study analysis was applied. The expression of diverse sexualities, social construction and made sex-gender settings result in behaviors and actions around these new identities. It is valued, from the cognitive, attitudinal and relational aspects of the university community, an acceptance mediated by a hegemonic heteronormative vision which seeks to be transformed from the inhomogeneous practices that limit the standardized perception of this people.
