摘要：

The National Photovoltaic Project with the long-term R and D plan from 1989 to 2001 in Korea was initiated to develop technologies for the generation of economically competitive electric power from photovoltaic systems. This paper reviews recent progress in this program including achievement for the first stage during the last three years, long-term R and D plan, and application and market outlook of photovoltaic systems in Korea for the next decade.
