摘要：

Work disability in Spain, in common with other countries in our context, represents a hugely significant socio-economic problem with a great impact on Public Health. In line with this, cancer is a major cause of work disability as a result of its increasingly prevalence along the recent last years, mainly in regard to temporary disability. Meanwhile, breast cancer is the most prevalent neoplastic disease in women; therefore, it's important to make a rough estimate of their costs based on the minimum standards linked to the cost-day concerning the IPREM (Public Indicator of Multiple Effect Incomes), the SMI (Minimum Wage) and the official data from Spanish Ministry of Labour-2010.
