摘要
A quantitative descriptive research was conducted under a non-experimental, transversal model with the objective of determining the level of exposure to hazardous psychosocial factors of professional workers in the occupational health area among three states of Venezuela: Lara, Barinas and Falcon. A non-probabilistic sampling was put into effect by selecting 61 doctors, 38 nurses and 6 psychologists working for occupational health services of private businesses. Questionnaire SUCESO ISTAS 21 for psychosocial risk evaluation at work was applied, adapted, validated and standardized in Chile. Results show high levels of risk in dimensions: psychological exigencies, social support and leadership quality, compensation and double presence; and a low level of risk for dimension: active labor and ability development. A conclusion that can be attainable is that these health professionals show high levels of psychosocial risk on their jobs, coinciding with similar findings in sanitary personnel, therefore, individual measures of protection before disgnosed risks are proposed.
