摘要
Significant modifications of membrane systems occur in cells exposed to ionizing radiations. Lipid peroxidation can take place in cell membranes, which contain unsaturated fatty acids. This can lead to an enhancement in membrane permeability. The nuclear membrane region, which has many association sites with DNA, seems to be a critical radiation target. In addition, irradiation of cell membranes results in modifications of membrane fluidity, ion permeability, surface charge, and alters the interactions involving membrane receptors.
