摘要：

How does a small university meet the challenge of building for tomorrow in a climate of austerity? Inevitably, compromises have to be made as automated systems (and other technical advances) are incorporated into buildings intended to last a generation or more. In designing the Arthur A. Wishart Library for Algoma University College in Sault Ste. Marie, balancing short-term economies against the need to build for a more distant future became the main objective.
