摘要
A different approach to the design of optimal optical orthogonal codes to be used in intensity modulation-direct detection code division multiple access fiber-optic local area networks is introduced. The design method is based on the combination of the concept of difference sets and projective geometry and the designed codewords yield the best achievable correlation properties.
