摘要
This paper describes a geographical model that evaluates the possibility of generating electricity in urban environments, defining those areas of rooftops suitable for the installation of photovoltaic systems buildings. The study, made for the municipality of Miraflores de la Sierra (Madrid), has been developed based on a three-dimensional urban model generated with LIDAR point cloud that provides an adequate description of the urban environment. The model not only performs overall calculations for a zone, but also provides the final result of photovoltaic potential data for the buildings, so it has been necessary to include in the model, tools developed in the Python programming language. Also, using the enormous versatility of GIS and the Internet, a geographic viewer has been implemented that allows the query, openly, of the main results.
