Territory and sustainability. Approximation to the ecological footprint of Andalusia

The present work is related to the existing worry, for some decades, into the economic literature that takes charge of the territory as a preferential analysis. In short, it pursues to improve the usual tools and to save the limitations that the current indicators present for a better capture of territorial realities incorporating besides the economic considerations, the social and environmental ones. The ecological footprint of Andalusia, territorial indicator of sustainability, satisfies in certain way this aim. Moreover, it is a good communication tool and it is provides prominent information for the management and planning of the sustainability.
