摘要
The objective of this paper is to analyze the need and, at the same time, the limits of public policies to address the historical and structural problems of people living, working and studying in the rural. Several educational programs and projects had been presented in the last decade, in response to organization and pressure from the organized rural social movements. However, they are far from a response to demands aimed at overcoming uneven the brazilian agrarian structure and unequal levels of schooling.
