摘要：
The thin layer chromatographic behaviour of common crown ethers has been Studied, pointing out unexpected features. Under certain experimental conditions the chromatographic spot is splitted up, as a consequence of the thermodymanic equilibrium established between conformers. Thin layer chromatography proves to be proper for searching the way a macrocyclic synthesis is carried out, but improper for determining the polyether purity.
