CHRONIC-PANCREATITIS - GENERALLY A PANCREATIC LITHIASIS

A graduate of the Faculties of Medicine and Science in Marseilles, Henri Sarles became Professor of Medicine in October 1968. This was followed by his appointment as Director of the Department of Gastroenterology at the Hospital Sainte Marguerite in Marseilles. He later became the Director of the Research Unit of Digestive Physio-Pathology which is linked to the Institut de la Sante et de la Recherche Medicale (INSERM). Henri Sarles is a member of the Societies of Gastroenterology in France, England and Germany; he is also a member of the American Gastroenterological Association.
