HYDROGEN PEROXIDE PRETREATMENT OF WHEAT STRAW WITH SUBSEQUENT AUTOHYDROLYSIS

摘要
The effect of hydrogen peroxide pretreatment of wheat straw on the product yield of autohydrolysis conducted at a temperature of 280 degrees C and a pressure of 30 MPa and 10 minutes is studied. The hydrogen peroxide concentration increase was found to enhance the straw biomass solubility during autohydrolysis up to 88.5 % by ADM (absolutely dry mass). The main autohydrolysis products are water-soluble compounds, their maximum content is observed in the sample obtained with 10 % peroxide treatment. Pretreatment significantly increases the yield of delignification products.
