摘要：

Experiencing the loss of a baby during labor can be an extremely isolating experience for parents. The isolation many parents feel may prompt potentially serious risk factors, such as suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety, and other mental disorders. Support groups can play a key role in decreasing such issues as parents grieve the loss of their baby. This article provides information on important considerations for the establishment of treatment support groups for parents experiencing perinatal loss.
