摘要
Gain anisotropy resulting from polarisation holeburning in a saturated reflective erbium-doped fibre amplifier can be suppressed using a Faraday effect mirror as the signal reflector. Complete suppression of 0.28dB gain anisotropy in an amplifier having 11dB gain compression was demonstrated.
