摘要
This study deals with the application of hydrogen as a fuel with focus on the improvement of radiation from its flame. Combustion data for hydrogen have been compared with those of methane and radiant heat transfer has been described with focus on luminous radiation. Soot formation from coal and its contribution to flame radiation have also been considered. The addition of pulverized coal to non-luminous hydrogen flame to generate soot and improve radiation is proposed.
