摘要
A simplified one-dimensional finite element has been developed to determine the distribution of the normal stress ahead of the crack in the uncracked region of a double cantilever beam. The element is based on a high-order beam theory, which includes not only transverse shear deformation but also through-thickness deformation. A double cantilever beam under a static load or a dynamic load was solved using the developed element. © 1989.
