摘要
The theory of separation of gas mixtures in chemical equilibrium has been verified experimentally for the systems: (a) Ar/He/NO2/N 2O4 and (b) 2NO2⇆NO+O2 with a large excess of O2. The separation in the second system was smaller than calculated, which was attributed to the slowness of the chemical reaction. This was tested by experiments with two different concentrations of NO 2. The results agree well with a simple model.
