HISTOMORPHOLOGICAL STUDIES ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF PITUITARY TUMOR AFTER TREATMENT WITH ESTROGENS AND ALCOHOL

摘要：
The aim of this study was to determine the histomorphological changes in the development of experimental prolactinoma after treatment with alcohol and estrogens. The treatment of the pituitary glands included staining with hemalaun-eosin. The group treated with alcohol showed changes related to hyperplasia of acidophilic cells, while in the group treated with estrogens, we observed well developed adenomas. In this studies, we show histomorfologycal changes of pituitary glands in Wistar rats with characteristics of tumor.
