摘要
Small angle neutron scattering measurements have been performed on a single crystal of the reentrant spin glass alloy Fe0.715Al0.285. The present study covers a wide range in the momentum transfer Q by utilizing pulsed cold neutrons. The neutron scattering data are analyzed assuming that the observed scattering at smaller Q is attributed to macroscopic thermal spin fluctuations and that the one at larger Q is dominated by microscopic fluctuations. The results suggest that the latter fluctuations might trigger a breaking down of the ferromagnetic phase and finally induce a spin glass state. © 1990, THE PHYSICAL SOCIETY OF JAPAN.
