SPILLOVER EFFECTS OF HYDROGEN ON THE REDUCTION OF CO2 OVER SUPPORTED METAL-CATALYSTS

摘要
Reduction of CO2 with hydrocarbons such as CH4 or C6H5CH3 producing synthesis gas of CO and H-2, has been investigated over various supported metal catalysts under atmospheric pressure. In general, Ni-SiO2 and Rh-Al2O3 catalysts were found to be excellent in activity and selectivity. The reaction rates were moderately dependent on the pressure of carbon dioxide. whereas it was little influenced by the pressure of hydrocarbon.
