THE INFLUENCE OF THE MICROSTRUCTURE ON THE CORROSION BEHAVIOR OF FE-25CR

摘要
The influence of the heat treatment of Fe-25Cr on corrosion behaviour was studied. Different heat treatments resulted in different microstructures of the alloys. The dissolution of the alloys is affected by the strain in the alloys. The passivation process is dependent on the distribution of chromium in the alloys. The iron in the alloys contributes to the passivation in the potential region where iron is found to be passive. In the passive region the dissolution of the alloys mainly occurs at the grain boundaries and weak spots in the passive film.
