摘要：
A stabilized treatment of singular perturbation problems with spectral methods is presented. The stabilization is achieved by introducing one additional collocation point. The resulting overdetermined system leads to the normal equations which yield a stabilized system. Numerical results in one and two dimensions are presented which show the improved condition number of the stabilized spectral system.
