摘要
Pregnancy is characterized by physiological, metabolic, endocrine and nutritional changes. During this period the power has the role of supply needs, and to promote adequate weight gain for the mother and newborn. This study aimed to evaluate the pre-gestational nutritional status, weight gain during pregnancy and assessment of blood tests for hemoglobin and glucose levels in pregnant women attending a clinic in the city of Pato Branco-PR. For the development of this research used to the analysis of laboratory tests, determination of prepregnancy BMI and total weight gain during pregnancy. They included 39 pregnant women aged 18-39 years. The average found BMI pre-pregnancy was 24.14 kg / m(2). The weight gain varied from 3.5 kg to 28.5 kg. By linking the prepregnancy BMI and glucose found in the second quarter statistical correlation (p = 0.0039). When correlated weight gain and blood glucose it was found that there is significance in the second trimester (p = 0.0019). glycemia They met in the second quarter off the recommended standard, indicating impaired fasting glucose. Hemoglobin in the second and third quarters showed the minimum below the recommended (9.98g / dl - 10 g / dl), ranking as iron deficiency anemia. The study highlights the importance of nutritional care before and during pregnancy, always aiming at the promotion of maternal and child health, aiming the importance of laboratory tests that help in early diagnosis and treatment.
