COMPUTATION OF MICROWAVE S-PARAMETERS WITH THE SYMMETRICAL CONDENSED NODE 3D-TLM METHOD

摘要
The symmetrical condensed node (SCN) TLM method is used to compute S‐parameters of various microwave components. A spiral inductor with air bridge, a discontinuous ridge waveguide, a resonant iris, and a double plane waveguide transition are analyzed. The conditions which must be satisfied in the S‐parameter computation of such circuits are defined. The validity of the method is verified by comparison with results obtained by experiment and other numerical methods. Very good agreement with those results has been achieved by virtue of the excellent wideband absorbing boundaries implemented in our method. Copyright © 1990 Wiley Periodicals, Inc., A Wiley Company
