摘要
The goal of this research is to design a device to pull the tibia and fibula fractures allowing it alignment. The stress distribution in the mechanism using the finite element method was evaluated. Solidworks Simulation (R) obtaining a successful model program in relation to the analysis of motion and strength was used. The model was built following standards for medical devices; their operation was tested in a medical board of trauma specialists assigned to the Hospital Universitario Dr. Angel Larralde. Experimental results were validated by medical specialists accepting the device.
