摘要
The effect of chromatization as it is a conversion coating used to achieve greater protection over an infinity of metallic coatings, was studied. It is made by immersing the Zn or ZnNi coating in the aqueous chromatized solution containing Cr3+ salts (sodium and potassium chromates). The characterization studies were carried out by SEM, EIS, polarization curves, thicknesses and Ni content that were measured by Fluorescence (FRX). The relevant results and conclusions with chromatized Cr3+ indicate that the contents of Ni increase to. similar to 16%, the potentials move to more positive or noble values (100 mV) and the corrosion currents are lower. The coatings were characterized by XRD in Zn and ZnNi. The peaks obtained in the presence of Chromatized corresponds to the formation of Cr compounds and. phase typical of ZnNi is intensify.
