摘要
Even for materials displaying progressive changes in microstructure as ageing occurs during prolonged exposure at high temperature, the theta Projection Concept provides model-based constitutive relationships which accurately predict long-term creep and creep-fracture properties. By facilitating extended extrapolation of short-term high-precision test data, this approach also introduces theoretically-sound remanent life assessment procedures for safe and economical life extension of power plant and petrochemical installations.
