摘要
The initial oxidation of CoCrW alloys with additions of Y, Fe and ill was investigated at 450 degrees C in air. Electron-beam-melted samples and films produced by low pressure plasma spraying on the Ni-based superalloy MA 6000 were used. The structure and composition were measured by scanning electron microscopy and energy-dispersive X-ray diffraction, and the oxide thickness by ellipsometry. Different structures and Y additions did not influence the oxidation. The addition of Fe increases the disorder, while Al causes precipitation. Both processes enhance the speed of oxidation; for Al it can be reduced again by the dissolution of the precipitates at high temperatures.
