APPROACH TO THE CONCEPTS OF KNOWLEDGE AND INTEREST FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF JURGEN HABERMAS

The following article aims to make an approximation to the concepts of knowledge and interest developed by the German philosopher Jurgen Habermas. To make this approach the guiding text will be the work Knowledge and Interest where the author develops a reflexive-critical analysis in search of overcoming the rationalist and scientistic notion about these concepts established by philosophical trends of the eighteenth and nineteenth century. When deepening in this key of reading will resort to the analysis carried out by Paul Ricoeur in a section of the writing Of the text to the Action titled "Critique of the ideologies". All these elements will serve to understand why Habermas will insert in this field of discussion the concepts of communicative experience and experience of the action, strengthening the reflective aspect so as not to exhaust the dynamic sense from which knowledge and interest in man is built.
