摘要
Determination of the fracture energy of composite laminates has been broadly studied in recent years. The emphasis of this paper is placed on the laminar fracture behaviour of hybrid (G/C) fibre laminates. The experiments have shown that there are three typical stages of laminar fracture during the fracture process, which exhibit the unique features of laminates. The relationships among the energy, crack length and deflection are established to explain the typical test curves of both specimens, while fractography of the fracture surface is shown using SEM.
