A third-order nodal network model for Stirling refrigerators has been developed under Lockheed's Independent Research Program. Detailed description of this computer model can be found elsewhere 1. The present paper emphasizes the validation of this model against experimental results for the Lucas Stirling refrigerators. Excellent agreement was found between the two.
