摘要：
The basic criterion of successful farming under the present conditions is the enterprise competitiveness level. At the same time, in view of the global ecological problems it is necessary to secure sustainable development of agriculture. The author has identified purposes, objects and criteria of the sustainable development of agriculture and has assessed the nature of interrelations between sustainable development and the competitiveness level of agricultural enterprises. She has also revealed sources for the increasing of competitiveness of farm producers taking into account the concept of sustainable development.
