摘要
Asian Neoconfucianism is the contemporary version of the millennial Chinese Confucian tradition. Contemporary Neoconfucianism is an intellectual trend that has its origins in continental China at the beginning of the 21st Century, but gains special momentum from the decade of the 80's, when it spreads its influence to neighbouring Asian countries. Some scholars point out that this revival of the Confucianism in contemporary times will have its implications in Chinese politics. The aim of this work is to introduce the historical context in which Neoconfucianism took place. We shall also carry out the analysis of the actual impact of this trend in Chinese Communist Party's political discourse.
