摘要
Based on the equivalent cantilever beam method proposed by Majdi and Amini, the influence of connectivity rate k is taken into account to better analyze the flexural toppling failure of a certain highway slope. The equations of stability coefficient derived from the maximum tensile stress criterion and the stress intensity factor criterion is used to evaluate the slope stability. Through the discussion of various factors affecting slope stability, reference basis for the design and construction of real slopes can be provided. Besides, the discrete element software udec (universal distinct element code) is used to analyze the results which show that the toppling slope stability is affected by the connectivity rate k, the rock dip angle delta, the slope face angle theta(1), the height of slope H and the Strata thickness t. The coupling of these factors can restrict the stability of the slope. Therefore, the design and construction of this highway slope must consider these factors.
