摘要
We study the effects of a static disorder caused by the quantum lattice fluctuations on the above-gap intra- and interchain optical transitions in conducting polymers. The violation of the selection rules that are valid in the equilibrium lattice is quantitatively investigated for a model where every chain is described by a Dirac-type Hamiltonian and the gap amplitude fluctuates as Gaussian white noise. © 1990.
