摘要
Some applications for high temperature ceramic proton conductors are proposed. Included are hydrogen production and transport, measurement of hydrogen activity, hydrogen isotope separation, power production and power storage. Small scale hydrogen production based on electrolysis of moisture is envisioned for the charging of metals with hydrogen, the formation of metal hydrides, the introduction of hydrogen into vacuum systems and the creation of standard hydrogen leaks.
