摘要
Reactions of cobalt(II) chloride, bromide and isothiocyanate with the tridentate ligands derived from the condensation of 2,6-diacetylpyridine with either aniline or 4-methoxyaniline afford the high-spin five-coordinate complexes of the type [CoX2L] (X = Cl, Br, or NCS; L = tridentate ligand). Reactions of CO(ClO4)2 - 6H2O with an excess of these ligands give mer-octahedral complexes of the type [CoL2][ClO4]2.
