Sulfamic Acid as an Efficient, Cost-Effective, Eco-Friendly and Recyclable Solid Acid Catalyst for the Synthesis of a Novel Series of 2,3-Dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-ones and Antitumor Evaluation

摘要
A new series of 4(1H)-quinazolinone derivatives was synthesized through one-pot reaction of isatoic anhydride, amines and aldehydes. Sulfamic acid efficiently catalyzes the three-component reaction to afford the corresponding 4(1H)-quinazolinones in high yields. The reaction occurred under stirring in deionized water at room temperature or in ethanol under reflux conditions. The synthesized compounds were tested against HepG2, MCF-7 and A549 tumor cell lines. The cytotoxic activity for the tested compounds showed that four compounds revealed good IC50 values compared with the values of standard drug doxorubicin.
