METAMAGNETIC BEHAVIOR IN CE-KONDO LATTICE COMPOUNDS

摘要
CeB6, CeAl2, CeCu2 and CeCu6 substances are known as a Kondo lattice compound of which the ground state is either magnetic or non-magnetic. The former corresponds to CeB6, CeAl2 and CeCu2. The Neel temperatures are 2.3, 3.8 and 3.0 K, respectively. On the other hand, the latter substance of CeCu6 is thought to possess the non-magnetic ground state. To understand the ground state property of Ce-Kondo lattice compounds we have measured the magnetization and transverse magnetoresistance.
