The main task of the legal accident insurance (GUV) is to use all appropriate means to prevent industrial accidents and occupational illnesses and to exclude occupational health hazards and after any industrial accidents or occupational illnesses to use all appropriate means to restore the health and capability of the insured persons, to arrange for their professional rehabilitation, or to pay out cash compensation to their survivors.
