This paper introduces -briefly-some facts which contributed to the "European version of the Crisis". Its aim is twofold. On the one hand to offer an interpretation of The Lisbon Treaty as a mechanism likely to help in overcoming the financial and economic crisis; and on the other hand to present the main strategic measures as programmed by the EU Institutions (mainly the Commission) to, take back the path of Law based European Economic Growth
