ANALYSIS OF THE REACTION C-12(PI+,PI+P)B-11 AT ENERGY 199 MEV

摘要：

The mechanism of the reaction C-12(pi+,pi+ p)B-11 is analyzed by the diagrammatic technique. It is shown that the main contribution to the amplitude of the reaction comes from the pole and triangle diagrams which describe the interaction in the initial and final states. It is concluded that it is possible to describe the reaction in the eikonal approximation, and that spectroscopic information obtained in the analysis of this reaction, both by the diagrammatic technique and by the method of distorted waves, is unreliable. It is shown that the results obtained by these two methods are similar.
