摘要
The kinetics of Fe(II)SO4 sonolytic oxidation in aqueous solutions at pH = 1-2, in the concentration range 1.5 X 10(-3) - 1.5 X 10(-2)M was studied. A reaction mechanism was proposed, based on the strong oxidizing efect of OH radicals generated in H2O primary sonolysis. The effect to Fe(II)SO4 concentration on the oxidation rate constant was consistent with Noyes' scavenging kinetics of OH radicals, providing similarities with some thermal and photochemical reactions involving such reactive intermediates.
