摘要
A survey conducted to find the use of teach pendants with industrial robots, is discussed. The survey was conducted with two separate questionnaires, one for robot users and one for manufacturers or suppliers of robots. The findings from the survey show that teach pendants are still one of the principal means of programming a robot and their use is likely to use continue for many years. The results from the experimental study suggest that the adaptation to more compatible control of robot motion helps to improve operator performance and efficiency when controlling the robot manually.
