USE OF A GAS-LIQUID-CHROMATOGRAPHIC METHOD TO EXAMINE THE PHARMACOKINETICS AND METABOLISM OF ADAMANTANE DERIVATIVES

摘要：
A method for gas-liquid chromatography was developed to separate oxygen-containing derivatives of adamantane. The pharmacokinetics of kemantane in animals and man was studied with the method proposed. Significant interspecific differences were shown in the pharmacokinetics of kemantane. The human plasma practically displayed no unchanged agent, but exhibited its active metabolite from whose kinetics the kinetics of kemantane was evaluated. The structure of the major metabolite was identified.
