摘要
A syntactic method for analysing ECG waveforms considered as a multichannel process is presented. A procedure is designed in order to extract the time evolution of the rhythm using the energy of the ECG derivatives. This method performs a coding by table look-up methods. The parsing is performed with simple finite state automata inferred by experiments and suitable to be updated during experiment execution. The possible ambiguities can be solved introducing fuzzy or stochastic linguistic variables processed by fuzzy or stochastic automata. Some experimental results are presented.
